Can we cancel issued parking tickets?
Absolutely, if a ticket has been issued in error or your visitor registration details were not received we can cancel tickets with the click of a button.You are in total control at all times.
Who provides the signs for our Car Park?
We do. All signage is supplied and erected by UKPC. Our signs clearly inform the public our terms and conditions.
How long is the contract for?
Our contracts are generally for a minimum of 3 months but they can be cancelled within 30 days from written notice by either party.
Do you work for any large organisations?
Yes, we provide parking solutions for large organisations including Tesco, McDonalds, Sainsbury, Kent County Council, B&Q, Homebase, Legal & General, NHS, Royal Mail and Hilton Group.
Are your staff uniformed and carry identification?
Absolutely. All UKPC wardens have UKPC branded uniforms and carry full identification.
Do you belong to any recognised parking associations?
Yes, we are currently members of the British Parking Association – Approved Contractor (BPA) & National Britannia Safe Contractor scheme and ISO 9001 approved.
How much will a parking enforcement system cost?
There are no costs to yourself and no hidden costs.
How do you earn your money then?
Our fee is generated by the payment of Parking Charge Notices (PCN) issued to unauthorised users.
Will my staff get a ticket?
No. We issue UKPC branded parking permits which cannot be duplicated. We would ask you to make sure they are clearly displayed on the windscreen at all times.
What about our visitors?
We can either issue visitor permits or collect a registration list from reception.
Do you have any insurance to operate?
We have Public £5,000,000 and Employer’s Liability Insurance £10,000,000.
Is the data you hold safe?
We are Data Protection Approved and registered under the Data Protection Act.
Are you approved by the DVLA?
Yes, we are approved by the DVLA and have EDI link which enables us to access offender details within 24hrs.
When could I expect you to respond to an appeal?
We respond to all customer appeals within 5 working days.
Do you use an approved debt recovery agency?
Yes, we source reputable debt recovery agencies.
Can you provide legitimate references?
UKPC can provide references from Residential, Commercial or Retail sectors.
